This is well worth a visit if you are in London. Stunning images and excellent narrative, the exhibition documents the evolving and developing role of women during the second world war.
Miller, formerly a model for Vogue Magazine who then turned Vogue photographer and finally war photographer. The exhibition displays this women’s extraordinary life and the influences that shaped her becoming one of the most remarkable female photographers of the twentieth century. As a woman it gave Miller greater access to situations in which she could really portray the impact on women's lives during WWII both in Britain and across Europe. One of the best photography exhibitions I have visited and comes highly recommended. There is also a book to support the exhibition and I also notice that Kate Winslett has been chosen to play her in an adaptation of Millers life. The exhibition is on until 24 April 2016. http://www.iwm.org.uk/exhibitions/iwm-london/lee-miller-a-woman-s-war
